Ex Manin Paper Mill

A promenade. The project consist in the refurbishment of the open spaces surrounding the former Manin Paper Mill, a XVIII century building of remarkable architectural interest. The Mill used to be connected to Villa Manin, currently venue of relevant artistic and cultural events, and was once property of the last Duke of Venice. Within the site, (as large as 50 hectares), the presence of water and magnificent lines of poplars is enhanced through the project, which acts in a discrete and localized fashion. The intervention is also addressed to the remarkable space of the patio inside the ex-paper Mill, intervened a with a design that acts strenghtening the identity of the site.
