The project site, currently surrounded by noisy and heavy traffic - initially a relatively wide area –  was progressively downsized due to a series of building interventions. The last of these - the building of a public parking - introduced a dramatic change in the original form of the site and therefore the need for a comprehensive reclaiming.  A large hornbeam (Carpinus betulus) tree buffer, protects the garden from the surrounding visual and acoustic noise. The garden is organized according to a set of rooms developed around a large central “hall”: a sunken garden directly related to the terrace of the new sports center.
