Stone Starship

This feasibility study for a new operational headquarters and production plant for a large aerospace engineering company, intervenes by redeveloping a large abandoned industrial building. Like plug-in elements inspired by the variable morphology of orbiting space stations, spaces and pavilions are grafted onto the now inert wreck of the pre-existing building, while newlyg  excavated patios bring light to the internal environments. This solution allows for the creation of the necessary spaces and the definition of a new functional system, which develops along a central connective spine.
