This project doesn’t want to solve the problem of global warming, nor to declare itself "sustainable", nor to save the planet. The goal is simply to celebrate the joy of children, making them feel an integral part of the environment around them.
While a pavilion is usually identified as a space with trees around it, in this case are trees with a pavilion around them. In the shape of this small space, where the design of the greenery and that of the pavilion are one, concavity prevails over convexity, literally enveloping those who frequent it.
Entering through narrow corridors, instead of a flat floor, you find yourself immersed in a topography that allows children to play and use the space freely according to their desires.
The pavilion is high enough to be hidden in the vegetation. Only the roof is slightly visible, creating an environment inside that appears like an enchanted world.

A few sites of the Yilong region preserve almost intact the original, virtually “eternal”, structure of the landscape. These are the mountainous portions of land, where development is inhibited by their rugged topography. The design identifies and enhances the project site as a piece of land that, although located in the flatland, belongs to the same landscape order and origin of its millennial surroundings. The site therefore is understood as a Big Garden surrounded by a system of compact Towns, emerging as visible landmarks. Together they preserve the identity of the place. The Garden is both a magnet and a lung. It is an equalizer bringing balance and beauty, consciousness and a sense of belonging: the connection with the “Deep Matter” of the place that stretches far beyond the specific location and the specific time. Surrounded by main traffic arteries the circular perimeter becomes both an enclosure and an “orbital” system, selectively connecting with roads. Its shape, establishes a relationship with the broader landscape.
